Today marks the 20th edition of Safer Internet Day, whereby stakeholders around the globe support the safer and responsible use of the internet. Celebrated by 200 countries worldwide and backed by Insafe, the European Network of Safer Internet Centres, this year’s theme focuses on ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’. Each year Safer Internet Day aims to raise awareness of emerging online issues and current concerns and this year it is a very important one for all.
Automated Intelligence are delighted to support Safer Internet Day not just today but all year round throughout our organisation. We not only promote safe and inclusive use of the internet to our staff, but we also provide a variety of policies and procedures to help keep our team safe. These include monthly staff training assessments and best practice using the internet and internal phishing campaigns. This helps to educate and build awareness amongst our staff as to whether an email for example, is legitimate or not and to be extra vigilant of potential threats. Furthermore, our security and operations team ensure procedures are in place to safeguard data and information throughout Automated Intelligence by including the correct anti-malware packages on devices and adhering to audits and accreditations to enhance safety, best practice and remain compliant.
