On Friday the 21st of April we celebrate International Creativity and Innovation Day. The power of creativity and innovative thinking in driving positive change and unlocking new possibilities has been at the forefront of our economy. Our CEO, Simon Cole and COO, Pauline Timoney, lend their views on the important day.
International Creativity and Innovation Day is great opportunity for everyone to pause and consider how creativity and innovation could improve or bring joy to otherwise mundane tasks. As we have built Automated Intelligence, the most profitable time (both for the business and personally) is when we create time and space for innovation. It is crucial that this is passed onto the current and next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs as they engage in a world, where social media and entertainment seeks to steal every waking moment. Locally in Northern Ireland, we have initiatives such as Generation Innovation and apprenticeship programmes that bring an exciting dimension to innovation. There are endless opportunities in our world, and I encourage the next generation of tech leaders to embrace the new and emerging tools to innovate.
– Simon Cole, CEO, Automated Intelligence
International Creativity and Innovation Day is a reminder of the critical role that creativity and innovation play in driving growth, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction in today’s competitive business environment. As the COO of Automated Intelligence, I am proud to say that innovation is at the heart of everything we do!
We believe that innovation is not just about developing new products or technologies, but also about improving existing processes, enhancing customer experiences, and building a culture of creativity and collaboration. To achieve this, we have integrated innovation into our core values and have made it a part of our daily operations.
From our people-centric processes like recruitment, onboarding, and performance management to our strategic objective of “Automation First,” innovation is an integral part of our business. We have established company-wide innovation time, design thinking workshops, and other initiatives that encourage collaboration and creative thinking, empowering our employees to generate new ideas and solutions that can benefit our customers and the business as a whole.
We believe that fostering a culture of innovation is not only essential to our success but also to the success of the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs. As Simon said, we actively support programs outside of our business (like Generation Innovation) that inspire and equip young people with the skills and tools they need to become successful innovators and leaders of the future.
