Automated Intelligence recognise Data Privacy Day as an important event on the IT (Information Technology) security calendar. It is a part of a weeklong initiative which helps raise awareness about online privacy and educates and encourages online users how to securely manage their data.
Automated Intelligence is proud to support data privacy throughout our organisation. We know the importance of security and managing data privacy as we recently successfully secured the ISO 27001 and 9001 Certification, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to information security and quality management. We caught up with AI’s Security and Operations Manager, Colin Flack, to discuss Data Privacy Day.
“At Automated Intelligence, the online safety of our customers and team is paramount. To ensure this, we apply various policies and procedures that range from data policy frameworks, certifications such as Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001 accreditation. Having these policies and procedures allows us to reduce the likelihood of breaches and remain compliant with regulation. Additionally, we have PCI (Payment Card Information) DSS accreditation on our AI.DATALIFT service to ensure any potential cardholder data remains secure.
We take pride in constantly training our team to be aware of the dangers of not managing data correctly. We deliver monthly security awareness training through a series of modules on phishing, data protection and other interactive courses.”
