Automated Intelligence has selected Macmillan Cancer Support as its new charity partner for 2019.
Macmillan is the UK’s leading cancer supporter charity, providing personal, one-to-one care and support to thousands of people every day.
All staff at AI were asked to nominate an organisation close to their heart and this year, the charity with the most submissions was Macmillan.
Fundraising efforts have now begun with events like the Belfast City Marathon, a bake-off competition, and a Pizza Party night already planned in for this year.
There are 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK. One in two people today are likely to get cancer in their lifetime, with someone in the UK diagnosed with cancer every two minutes. They know that cancer can affect every aspect of your life – whether the physical, emotional or financial.
Cancer is a disease which has affected many of us at Automated Intelligence and we look forward to raising as much money as possible for this deserving charity.
