Northern Ireland’s entrepreneurial network Catalyst has launched its new Way to Scale programme for high-growth tech companies, and AI has been announced as one of just ten successful organisations to join the latest cohort.

Supported by Belfast City Council and Invest Northern Ireland, Way to Scale supports technology companies wanting to significantly expand their business operations.

CEOs will participate in an intensive entrepreneur development boot camp spanning Northern Ireland and the USA in 2020.

Kicking off at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the week-long intense programme will connect Northern Ireland CEOs with 100 other international CEOs.

Way to Scale focuses on go-to-market strategies and tactics that will deliver a defendable, scalable business plan for each company.

CEO of Automated Intelligence, Simon Cole, said, “We are looking forward to being part of this global network of technology leaders. Way to Scale will offer invaluable peer-to-peer support as well as helping us to strengthen our business model and value proposition. This will undoubtedly benefit us in increasing our international expansion further.”

John Knapton, Director of Growth and Scaling at Catalyst said, “This elite, global programme will give Northern Ireland CEOs the chance to tap into an international network, to learn from the most experienced and successful entrepreneurs on the planet. Every single participant will come away with the confidence, ambition, leadership and strategic skills to succeed, as well as creating a lifetime cohort of local and international peers who can give them ongoing support.”
