Automated Intelligence is delighted to support Catalyst’s unique work experience programme, Generation Innovation 2022. Aimed at 17–18-year-olds from across Northern Ireland, the programme offers design thinking training to prepare young people for the working environment and provides the opportunity to gain in depth knowledge and skills with some of the most aspiring NI companies within the technology industry.

Taking place from the 20-24th June, the Generation Innovation Programme will provide those taking part with the opportunity to upskill and learn new innovative ways of design thinking, encouraging and enabling them to become innovators and entrepreneurs of the future.

With an action packed agenda, including training on improving communication, team building, problem solving and creativity skills, participants are then invited to partake in solving a company based challenge, pitching their ideas to a selected panel.

Automated Intelligence’s problem challenge is outlined below:

“As an employee within a hybrid working office, it can be hard to measure that the core values of “care, quality and innovation” are being followed within the workplace. During the working week, employees are hybrid working, it can be difficult to maintain the core values consistently. Focusing on our core values will boost morale, improve teamwork, produce higher quality work, strengthen employee retention and increase job satisfaction for all employees.”

Talking about the Generation Innovation Programme, Jonathan Loomie, Automated Intelligence’s CTO said,

“We’re absolutely delighted to support Catalyst and the Generation Innovation Programme. This will not only provide participants with the ability to see how Automated Intelligence works on a day to day basis, but gives them the opportunity to learn new skills and take onboard advice from our experienced product and engineering teams to solve our problem challenge via gamification. We’re interested to hear the ideas pitched and see how we can implement the solution across our core company values going forward.”
