We are delighted to announce that we have raised a grand total of £4,164.50 for our 2019 corporate charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

Through a number of fundraising events such as a Belfast City Marathon relay team, a bake-off competition and an on-street appeal, we raised £2,082.25. This total was then match-funded by Automated Intelligence (AI).

More than 1,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK and it is a disease which has affected many of us at AI. Macmillan Cancer Support offers physical, financial and emotional support to those whose lives have been affected by cancer across the UK.

Joanne Young, Senior Fundraising Manager, Macmillan Cancer Support said“I would like to thank everyone at Automated Intelligence for choosing to support Macmillan in 2019. With the funds raised, it means that 144 people will have a Macmillan nurse with them when they hear the most devasting words anyone can hear.

The team at AI went above and beyond fundraising, in support of our palliative care, the staff put together comfort packs for relatives of people who are nearing the end of life.  These little things make such a difference, it means relatives don’t have to leave their loved ones for one minute. It was an absolute pleasure working with the team and on behalf of Macmillan, sincere thanks”.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Macmillan Cancer Support and fundraising for such a worthy cause.
